BeansTalk Speech Pathology is a fully mobile service, meaning we travel to you! Whether you prefer appointments within the home environment, daycare, kindergarten or school settings, we can arrange appointments to best suit the needs of each family.

At BeansTalk Speech Pathology, we are passionate about delivering holistic Speech Pathology services to children and their families, ensuring therapy is always fun and collaborative. We aim to work closely with all important stakeholders involved in your child's life to ensure a holistic approach. With your consent, we communicate closely with other professionals, including general practitioners, occupational therapists, educators, dieticians, support workers, support coordinators and psychologists.

Who can access BeansTalk Speech Pathology?

Currently, we accept private clients and NDIS participants who are self-managed or plan managed, as well as Medicare Chronic Disease Management Plans.
We accept referrals from parents/carers, schools and educators, NDIS partners and other health professionals.

We currently offer mobile Speech Pathology services within the Greater Springfield region. This includes the following suburbs:

• Springfield

• Springfield Lakes

• Augustine Heights

• Brookwater

• Spring Mountain

• Camira

• Bellbird Park

Please note, there is limited availability to other Ipswich and Brisbane suburbs upon request.

Intervention Areas

WHAT CAN WE HELP WITH?

Speech Sounds

We can assist your child in pronouncing the correct speech sounds, so they can be better understood by others.

Literacy

We can help your child learn to read and spell, ensuring they have the foundational skills needed to feel confident during literacy tasks at school.

Language

We can assess and support receptive (understanding) and expressive (speaking) language skills, including areas such as listening and following directions, understanding concepts, using correct sentence structures, grammar and more.

Feeding and Mealtimes

We can help your child learn to feel safe with new foods and offer key strategies to give your child the best success at mealtimes, ensuring this is as stress-free for caregivers as possible.

About Me

Elena graduated from the University of Queensland in 2017 with a Bachelor of Speech Pathology (Honours). She has worked across both Queensland Education and private practice settings and has experience working with both children and adults across the lifespan.

Elena has a passion for helping children learn the necessary skills needed to communicate and participate effectively in their day to day lives, with a special interest in speech, language, literacy and feeding difficulties. She enjoys collaborating with stakeholders, including parents, educators and other health professionals to equip them with the necessary skills needed to assist the child in reaching their full potential.
